Temporary Maintenance Worker Aide I/II (Multiple Positions)

$16.12 - $22.53 Hourly

Then come join our extraordinary and diverse Santa Cruz Parks & Recreation team. Under direct supervision by Parks and Recreation Department supervisory staff, and on a temporary or seasonal basis, Temporary Maintenance Worker Aide I/II performs a variety of unskilled, skilled, and semi-skilled tasks in the development and maintenance of either City parks or recreational facilities. Positions are currently available in Parks, Wharf and Beaches, DeLaveaga Golf Course, and Sports. Minimum requirements are some paid or unpaid manual labor experience and some positions require a valid California Class C driver`s license. Previous parks or landscape experience or building maintenance experience desirable but not required. Temporary positions are non-benefited and are limited to a total of 999 hours in a fiscal year.
