Summary of Job Duties:
The position will be based in the Santa Cruz Distribution Center, under general supervision, provide a variety of administrative support functions for the Distribution Center and Human Resources Department.
Specific Job Duties:
Provide a wide variety of administrative and clerical support to the Distribution Department.
Perform daily reception duties including, but not limited to, answer phone and email inquiries, assure that visitors sign in and out, open and sort incoming mail, keep employee forms stocked, maintain HR Bulletin Board content, and keep the reception area clean.
Maintain all filing of various documents into the employee personnel files or appropriate binders.
Maintain all HR files such as employee files, reports, purchase orders, pamphlets, etc.
Prepare all new hire paperwork in preparation for orientations and enter new employees into the Paycom database.
Process all Personnel Action items such as W-4 and address changes, department or shift changes, promotions, etc. and process the PAF (Personnel Action Form) report for the Payroll department.
Prepare employee termination paperwork and schedule exit interviews.
Complete and submit verifications of employment upon request.
Maintain and complete employee attendance documentation including callouts, lates, PSL, attendance log, etc.
Perform other tasks as assigned by Threshold management.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Minimum 2 years of administrative support or general clerical experience preferred.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
High School Diploma or GED.
Bilingual (English Spanish) preferred.
Other Skills and/or Training Desired:
Knowledge of basic Human Resources functions and policies
Experience with Paycom HRIS database.
Experience with MS PowerPoint.
