Summary of Job Duties:

Our MACHINE OPERATORS perform tasks and operates production equipment in a regulated manufacturing environment including weighing, dry granulation, wet granulation, milling, blending, roller compaction, tablet compression, encapsulation and coating. Adheres to all food safety and food quality guidelines, and cGMP requirements per NSF and FDA. Completes all documentation required for batch processing according to good documentation practices. Prepares disinfectants and performs sanitation/cleaning activities per procedures, and follows appropriate gowning, cGMP, and safety guidelines.

Specific Job Duties:

  1. Operate and troubleshoot tablet, capsule and processing equipment (for example: dry granulation, wet granulation, milling, blending, roller compaction, tablet compression, encapsulation and coating) used in the manufacturing of dietary supplements.
  2. Complete all documentation required for batch processing in a cGMP compliant manner, including master manufacturing records (MMR), process labels, room and equipment logbooks, and in-process documentation.
  3. Monitor product and process parameters throughout the process and perform in-process sampling and/or testing as required.
  4. Assist with plant sanitation as required, including sweeping, mopping, wiping walls and surfaces, and washing, emptying containers.
  5. Meet all safety expectations, including wearing the required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety practices and guidelines.
  6. Ensure full compliance with Companies Policies, Procedures, GMP’s, Code of Safe Practices and SOP’s at all times.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  1. 1-3 years of experience working with equipment or in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent.
  2. Self-motivated and ability to take initiative and use sound judgment in day-to-day decision making.
  3. Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
  4. Ability to work in an environment with exposure to powder and heavy equipment in a manufacturing atmosphere.
  5. Ability to read and write legibly in English.
  6. Ability to work overtime Saturdays as needed or required.
  7. Basic math skills.

We also offer a regular weekly schedule Monday to Friday, plus benefits after 90 days.
