About Us:
We are seeking a dynamic Clinical Manager for Si Se Puede, our Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Residential Treatment Program. Our team of skilled clinicians and counselors work together to provide client centered care with the ultimate goal of building resiliency and reducing harm. We partner with residents to identify and address internal and external stressors, establish healthy and supportive relationships, and develop more effective coping strategies to support their journey of Recovery. Our Counselors and Clinical Team work closely together using evidence-based treatment approaches including, Mindfulness-based practices, Motivational Interviewing, Seeking Safety, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to provide the most effective treatment possible for the clients we serve. We partner with outside agencies to assure our residents are supported with a successful transition back into the community upon completion of treatment.
Job Summary:
We currently have a full-time Clinical Manager opening at Si Se Puede, our residential treatment program located in Watsonville. Reporting to the Manager II, this position is responsible for: supporting the management of a 23-bed, residential SUD treatment program; providing consistent, high quality, supervision; and supporting the direction and oversight of our Clinical team utilizing crisis intervention, harm reduction, relapse prevention, trauma informed care, and other evidence-based treatment practices for adults experiencing substance use and co-occurring disorders.
Duties & Responsibilities
Leadership
In concert with the Manager II, provides leadership, direction and support in the implementation of best practices in delivering residential substance use disorder treatment services. Uses a strengths-based approach towards recovery-oriented services. Provides a leadership style which is mission-driven, focused on client services, outcomes, and models accessibility and integrity for staff and the community we serve. Supports a trauma-informed working environment for staff members.
Program Development
Develops goals, objectives and systems to accomplish program goals. Identifies potential problems and generates innovative and creative solutions, particularly as it pertains to clinical services at the program. Supports the implementation of policies, procedures and effective operating systems. Under the Manager II, supports program effectiveness by monitoring the clinical team’s performance and ensuring that our treatment program is continuously improving, using evidence-based practices and data driven results.
Community Relationships
Builds and maintains positive relationships with community partners, and ensures effective interactions/ communications with collaborators and other interfacing agencies. Participates in implementing treatment plans, working with clients as well as coordinating with physicians; case managers; families; and other providers.
Personnel Management
Supports Hiring, training and regular supervision of clinical team members. Encourages personal growth and professional development through trainings and evaluations. Addresses performance issues utilizing agency procedures. Leads with an affirmative and trauma informed work environment approach and supports agency efforts in this regard. Helps with facilitating team meetings and promotes teamwork and collaboration and oversight of clinical team staff schedules.
Clinical services
Provides crisis intervention, individual counseling, treatment plan development, case management and discharge planning services. Supports Medication procedures as needed in coordination with Nursing Staff. Provides on-call/after-hours support on weekdays and weekend on a rotating schedule with other managers.
Facility Management and Maintenance
Ensures compliance and regulations, reporting procedures, and health and safety standards.

Clinical Supervision is provided for individuals striving towards licensure through the Board of Behavioral Services.
Valid California driver's license and clearance for agency vehicle insurance coverage.
Fingerprinting for licensing, criminal record clearance and necessary physical exams are required.
