With this fun and interesting job, about 64% of your time is spent meeting with our members to ensure their satisfaction and 35% is marketing and marketing support (I totally made those numbers up, so don't hold me to them.) ;-). Duties include learning/sharing benefits with new members, coordinating events like monthly mixers and ribbon cuttings, writing marketing copy (Constant Contact and Facebook posts). As we are a small (but energetic) team, there is the opportunity to assist with other areas, as fit your abilities and interests.
Characteristics of the ideal candidate include relevant work experience, attention to detail, strong writing skills, excellent customer-service attitude, team player, thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment. Computer skills: must be proficient with Microsoft Office and use of the Internet. Experience with graphics software (Publisher and/or Adobe InDesign) makes you a much stronger candidate. One thing that's guaranteed - you will learn and grow a lot in this position as I am a manager who very much believes in developing my team. Did I mention fun? Yes, please have a sense of humor.
