Design Octaves, an established Plastics Manufacturing Company in Santa Cruz County, has immediate openings for Production Workers.  We are a supplier of custom high-quality enclosures to many of the leading medical and lab device companies. We are ISO 9001:2015 certified and have an excellent Quality Management System in place.

Full Time, 40 hours per week position with full benefits including medical/dental/vision, vacation, holidays, 401K.  10% shift differential paid for swing-shift positions. Role is for swing shift, with a 3 month day shift training period until the employee is fully trained. 

Duties:
Follow work instructions to mold, deflash, sand or sandblast parts according to specifications.

Follow directions of Department Leader.
Understand and use E2 to enter required job information.

Follow company and department safety rules.
Assist in different departments when required.

Requirements:

General for all production positions: 

Good verbal communication skills, able to read and write helpful

Familiarity with basic hand tools

Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Ability to do repetitive work

Molding Specific Requirements: 

Be proficient at basic math and be able to use a calculator

Ability to lift 50 lbs

Not Required but Desirable:

Previous manufacturing experience

Light maintenance experience

Compensation: Starting at $20.00/hr for entry level.  Increases with experience.  Excellent Benefit Package
