Key Responsibilities

Administrative Assistant -  perform a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of an office. Common responsibilities include:

  • Managing schedules and appointments, including coordinating meetings for staff.
  • Handling correspondence and documentation, such as preparing reports, scanning documents, drafting emails, and maintaining filing systems.
  • Answering phones and greeting visitors, providing information or directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assisting with administrative projects, putting together month end reports, maintain tenant and owner files, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualifications and Skills

To succeed as an Administrative Assistant, candidates typically need:

  • Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; higher education or certifications in administrative services, business, or related fields are preferred.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in office productivity software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with office equipment.
  • Soft skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Willingness to take direction.
  • Experience: Prior administrative support experience is often preferred, though entry-level positions may be available.
