The current vacancy for Network & Systems Administrator is at the Santa Cruz Public Libraries (SCPL).  The Santa Cruz Public Libraries consist of 10 neighborhood library branches, a web-based digital library, a Bookmobile and community-based programs. To learn more about the Santa Cruz Public Library System go to https://www.santacruzpl.org This is a regular full-time and fully benefitted position. The eligibility list established from this recruitment may be used to fill other Network & Systems Administrator vacancies during the life of the list, to include the Library and the Information Technology Department for the City of Santa Cruz, Under general direction, the Network and Systems Administrator analyzes, plans, coordinates, and supports a section of the City`s information systems and/or technical infrastructure; administers networks, applications, services and hardware assigned to the position; supervises technical support staff; may lead a customer support team; and performs related duties as assigned. 

The ideal candidate has strong supervisory and project management skills; experience in the design, implementation, and management of local area and wide area networks; and experience with cloud-based Active Directory management or hybrid environments and any Microsoft server and active directory group policy as well user and device management tools.
