Temporary Parking Attendant (Multiple Part-Time Positions)

The current vacancies are for Part-Time Temporary Parking Attendants in the Parking Division of the Public Works Department. Parking Attendants work a varied schedule that may include nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call hours. Under general supervision, the Temporary Parking Attendant collects parking fees, oversees the parking of vehicles, greets, provides information, and responds to inquiries and complaints from ongoing customers and the general public, enforces parking regulations, provides limited security checks, and performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum qualifications are a high school diploma or equivalent and six months of experience in cash handling, retail cashiering or other similar public contact work. 

Temporary positions are non-benefited and are limited to a total of 999 hours in a fiscal year. These temporary positions are of limited duration and are not linked to regular positions of the same name.
