Working for the Pajaro Valley Water Management Agency

The Pajaro Valley Water Management Agency (PV Water) is a state-chartered water management district formed to efficiently and economically manage existing and supplemental water supplies in order to prevent further increase in, and to accomplish continuing reduction of, long-term overdraft. The staff consists of 14 employees working in the following areas: Administration, Finance, Customer Service, Conservation, Hydrology, Operations, and Maintenance.

DEFINITION OF THE POSITION:  Under direction of the General Manager, provides varied, complex, and responsible administrative support to the General Manager and the Board of Directors, as well as Management and other Agency staff as directed; serves as the Secretary of the Board of Directors and in doing so has knowledge of local government Board support functions; prepares and distributes Board and Committee documents; maintains official Agency documents and records; and performs related work as assigned.
