Position Overview:
The Director of Finance at The Carmel Foundation is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing and managing all financial activities of the organization. This individual ensures the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of the Foundation`s financial records and reports while providing strategic financial direction. The Director will lead budgeting processes, manage accounting services, and collaborate closely with the President/CEO, the Finance Committee, the Board of Directors, the Development Director, and external auditors. Additionally, the Director of Finance will maintain the organization's fiscal health while supporting The Foundation`s vision of facilitating successful aging for older adults in our community.

This is a full-time position based in Carmel, CA. The Finance Director will be expected to attend Board meetings and other key leadership sessions and may occasionally be required to work outside standard office hours to meet deadlines or address urgent matters.
