We are looking for a committed team player to join our special teaching community. Please apply if you enjoy working within a team and want to inspire children's learning and create a community with families.  Our vision at NBCC is to provide children with intentional and enriching learning experiences that deepen cognitive and social emotional growth and which build compassion and understanding towards others.  We are looking for full time and part time teachers. Our hours range anywhere from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday - Friday. The position will pay based on experience and ECE units. 

Natural Bridges Children`s Center is a play, inquiry, & brain based child centered program where all children and ideas are respected.

Skills

• Experience as a teacher with 2-5 year olds
• Committed
• Family communication skills
• Knowledge of teaching best practices using the principles of child development with age appropriate curriculum
• Documentation of observations
• Purposeful dialog, discussion, and direct & indirect instruction
• Intentional staging of environments & scaffolding onto children`s current knowledge base
• Assessment of progress in children`s learning, growth, & development

Required Qualifications:

• At least 6 ECE Units of Early Childhood Education
• Mandated Reporter Certificate
• Background check
• Immunizations record
