Job Details

Canepa is seeking a highly skilled Tire Technician at the Journeyman or Master level, with extensive experience in tire, wheel, and alignment services, and a solid background in general automotive repair. This position requires proficiency in diagnosing and repairing complex tire-related issues and other essential vehicle components. The ideal candidate must be quality-minded, hardworking, and dedicated to providing the highest level of workmanship in the industry. We are seeking a person who is highly professional, who can work individually, as well as part of a multifunctional team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Mounting and dismounting automotive tires
• Balancing and force matching wheel and tire assemblies
• Removing and installing wheels on vehicles
• Repairing, rotating, and inflating tires
• Diagnose and repair tire vibration issues and wheel imbalances
• Calibrating TPMS
• Diagnose and correct chassis pull and steering wheel alignment issues
• Perform chassis corner weight balance
• Remove and replace shock absorber and anti-sway bar assemblies
• Replace brake pads, rotors, and bleed brakes
• Participate in training and follow safety procedures
• Diagnose and repair common mechanical issues (engine, transmission, and electrical components)
• Perform regular maintenance services such as oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations

Qualifications:

• Journeyman/Master-level experience in tire and wheel systems, chassis suspension and alignment
• 3+ years in tire service, chassis alignment and shock/brake systems 
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials
• Capability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles
• Experience working with performance vehicles and advanced automotive systems
• Strong diagnostic skills and ability to resolve complex automotive issues 
• Availability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as needed
• Ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or driving) for up to nine hours per shift
• Ability to move and lift up to 75 pounds
• 5+ years as an Automotive Technician
