Position: Primary Assistant Teacher – Poppy Class

Santa Cruz Montessori School, a nonprofit educational institution founded in 1964, seeks a dedicated Primary Assistant Teacher for our Poppy class. Our school, serving 220 students from 18 months to 15 years, is located in the scenic surroundings of Santa Cruz, California, between the redwood-forested mountains and the Monterey Bay.

Position Details:

• Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

• Pay Range: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

• Benefits: Full benefits package available

• Employment Type: Full-time

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units

• Proficiency in Spanish (preferred)

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
