The water treatment field is fast expanding as the need for clean water grows. We are a local 30-year-old company that supplies custom well & city water treatment systems to customers in the U.S., Canada, and worldwide.

Our customers include homeowners on their private wells, small community water systems, commercial systems such as breweries, bottled water plants, state and national parks, and hotels and resorts.

We are looking for a locally based, reliable, energetic, fast-learning individual to join our customer support team in our showroom and water treatment shop.

Our water treatment specialists help our customers virtually online, by phone, Zoom, and in person at our showroom for local customers. We design and ship water treatment systems and parts from our warehouse and assist our customers virtually, but there are no onsite visits.

The water treatment specialist's duties include on-boarding new customers and supporting our existing customers.

Other duties include setting up and programming control valves for new customer orders in our shop.

We offer 2 weeks of paid vacation a year for full-time staff, plus paid days off for major holidays and 4 personal or sick days per year, and Kaiser Health Insurance.

We are located off Soquel Ave, right near Highway 1 in the Live Oak area of Santa Cruz.

Starting pay is $24 to $34 an hour depending on experience and certifications achieved.

Hours worked are Monday - Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Requirements include:

One of the following:

• WQA Water Specialist Certification or
• Grade 2 Water Treatment Plant Operators License or
• 4 years experience in water softening, conditioners or filtration systems.

All our water treatment specialists are required to obtain their WQA Water Specialist Certification within the 1st year (tuition and licensing fees paid by company).

If you are not WQA certified currently but have extensive experience in water treatment systems, we will assist with training and education through the WQA.
