Canepa is seeking an experienced Parts Department Counterperson. The ideal candidate is highly energetic, detail oriented, proactive, and extremely organized. The Parts Department Counterperson will staff the Parts Department on a full time basis and will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following areas:

• Source hard to find and special order parts.
• Place and track orders. Develop contingency plans for orders that experience delays.
• Receive orders, ensure order correctness, and distribution to shop personnel.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and integrity.
• Ship and confirm delivery of outbound material.
• Meet with suppliers and establish and maintain accounts.
• Cost out parts and materials on work orders.
• Maintain showroom parts counter and inventory.
• Internet parts sales.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years Automotive Parts Department Experience.
• Ability to work on an individual basis with limited direction.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Internet search engine. (QuickBooks accounting software a plus, but not required).
