An Author starting up a publishing company after 15 years of publishing his own books.
This is a new company helping writers to publish their books. We are looking for an office manager type.
Needed:
Computer skills, Organizational skills, and Quickbooks on line is a bonus.
The day to day work would be......to answer emails, organize getting manuscripts published while working with the authors, english and editing skills, check on-line stores for sales and process the orders then ship the orders out, do some billing and collecting of monies from customers and online stores, keep the office running smoothly, answer phones, be creative on how to promote the product through any online sites, be able to type at least 65 words a minute, also be self organizing with tasks.
The work week is Monday thru Friday 8:30-4:00. During a promotional event, a Saturday or Sunday might be needed.
The office is located in Aptos in a beautiful Bamboo setting, so, nice and quiet.
