The Financial aid and Scholarship office is conducting an open recruitment for a Business Needs Analyst. This is a Career, 100% time appointment eligible for full University benefits.
The Basic Needs Analyst is responsible for supporting the processing of awards tied to programs which address food, housing, health and wellness, and financial insecurity. This includes reviewing various award requests to determine how to best bridge these student supports with federal aid regulations. The Analyst will occasionally interact with students and serves as the principal resource for campus staff that support Basic Needs efforts, including but not limited to Slug Support, Basic Needs, Student Health, etc. Additionally, the incumbent supports Basic Needs outreach efforts tied to Cal Fresh and Federal Work Study utilization.
In this role, you the incumbent will apply organizational policies and procedures to resolve various issues; work on problems of limited to moderate complexity where analysis of situations or data requires a review of multiple factors, including exercising professional judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
