Trainee level does not require previous law enforcement experience. *The City of Santa Cruz now accepts California POST Pellet B test results with a minimum T score of 48, instead of requiring in-person testing. OR you may opt to take the POST Pellet B test with the City of Santa Cruz on 3/17/19. The Police Officer pay range is $6,140 to $8,638 per month. Excellent benefits and PERS retirement!
