The City of Santa Cruz has an opening for Engineering Technician in the Water Engineering Division of the Water Department. This is a full-time position with benefits. The City is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Engineering Technician to work with a dynamic team of engineers and assist with projects and programs in the Water Engineering Division. The eligible list established by this recruitment may also be used for other divisions in the Water and Public Works Departments for up to one year. This position requires a high school diploma or tested equivalent, two years of experience in engineering drafting or similar related experience, AutoCAD experience or coursework, GIS experience or coursework, and a valid driver`s license.  An engineering degree, EIT, or LSIT may substitute for the two years of experience. For the full job description and list of minimum qualifications, please refer to the City of Santa Cruz Jobs page on the link below.
